The F&B; Steward is responsible for providing effective and courteous food and beverage service to guests while maintaining service standards and cleanliness in dining areas. The role focuses on ensuring a pleasant dining experience and supporting smooth restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Service Operations
Provide food and beverage service to guests in restaurants, banquets, and other outlets.
Assist in table setup, mise en place, and outlet preparation before service.
Serve food and beverages as per established service standards.
Clear tables and reset them promptly for the next service.
Guest Service
Welcome guests politely and assist them during dining.
Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times.
Coordination
Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service of food orders.
Inform supervisors about guest feedback or service issues.
Quality & Hygiene
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of service areas, tables, and equipment.
Follow proper food safety and hygiene standards.
Ensure correct handling of crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management preferred.
0–2 years of experience in Food & Beverage Service (freshers can apply).
Basic communication and guest handling skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Job Types: Full time, Permanent
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
