Job Title: Accounts Executive (Construction Industry)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Executive with 1–3 years of experience in accounting within the construction or infrastructure sector. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in Tally ERP 9, GST and TDS compliance, and coordination with Chartered Accountants. The role involves managing project-based accounting, contractor/vendor transactions, and ensuring statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP 9, including site and project accounts
Maintain project-wise accounting records, cost tracking, and expense allocation
Handle accounts payable and receivable, including contractor and vendor payments
Process subcontractor bills, work orders, and client billing (RA bills, final bills)
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor project-wise cash flow
Maintain accurate ledgers, financial statements, and supporting documentation
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) and ensure compliance with GST regulations, including input credit tracking
Handle TDS deductions, contractor payments compliance, and timely filing of TDS returns
Assist in project cost analysis,



budgeting, and variance reporting
Support finalization of accounts and audit processes
Coordinate with external Chartered Accountant for statutory compliance, audits, and tax filings
Maintain proper documentation for statutory, audit, and project-related requirements
Generate MIS reports including project profitability, cost reports, and financial summaries for management

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction/infrastructure industry
Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP 9
Positive understanding of GST (including works contract) and TDS provisions
Proficiency in MS Excel (basic formulas, reporting, data handling)
Solid attention to detail and accuracy
Analytical mindset with ability to handle project-based accounting
Valuable communication and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in handling contractor billing and project accounting
Exposure to working with a CA firm or audit processes
Knowledge of income tax compliance

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
