FIELD ENGINEERS (GAS TURBINE & STEAM TURBINE) – COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANT

About the Role:

Responsible for field operation and monitoring of Gas Turbine (GT) and Steam Turbine (ST) systems, ensuring secure, reliable, and effective turbine performance. The role supports CCR operators during start-ups, normal operations, shutdowns, load changes, and emergency conditions to maintain uninterrupted power supply to downstream process facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

§ Perform field checks & local operation of Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine systems

§ Monitor turbine auxiliaries: lube oil, hydraulic oil, seal oil, fuel systems etc.

§ Respond to alarms and assist during start-ups, shutdowns, and load adjustments

§ Conduct routine inspections & report abnormalities to CCR

§ Follow safety procedures, PTW & LOTO requirements

§ Prepare log sheets and shift handover notes

§ Support maintenance teams during routine & breakdown activities,



including equipment isolation, safety compliance, and post-maintenance checks

§ Coordinate with CCR operators to carry out operational commands promptly and safely.

§ Respond quickly to alarms and abnormal operating conditions in turbine areas

§ Maintain turbine inspection checklists and logbooks.

Qualifications:

§ Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in mechanical / electrical / I&C;

§ 5–10 years of Combined Cycle power plant operations experience.

§ Hands-on experience with Siemens SGT-2000E Gas Turbine operations will be an added advantage

Pay: ₹10,055.93 - ₹80,000.00 per month
