Job Summary

Vira Jagani School of Excellence – Shishuvan Dombivli is seeking a qualified and organized Librarian to manage the school library and promote a culture of reading and learning among students. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational, communication, and library management skills.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the school library.
Maintain and organize library books, journals, and digital resources.
Classify, catalogue, and update library records.
Issue, receive, and track library books using manual or library management software.
Guide students and staff in selecting appropriate reading and reference materials.
Encourage reading habits through library activities and reading programs.
Ensure proper maintenance and preservation of library resources.
Coordinate with teachers for curriculum-related library requirements.
Prepare periodic reports on library usage and inventory.




Maintain discipline and a conducive learning environment within the library.

Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor of Library Science (B.Lib./B.Lib.I.Sc.) – Mandatory
Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Librarian, preferably in a school.
Freshers with the required qualification also welcome.

Required Skills
Solid organizational and record-keeping skills.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office).
Knowledge of library cataloguing and classification systems.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with staff and students.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
