We are looking for a responsible and proactive Assistant Site In-Charge to support the day-to-day operations of the Water Treatment Plant (WTP). The candidate will assist in ensuring smooth plant operations, supervise manpower, maintain safety standards, coordinate with the client, and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Site In-Charge in managing daily WTP operations.
Monitor the operation of WTP, RO, DM, and utility systems.
Supervise shift activities and ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
Lead and coordinate operators and technicians during shifts.
Monitor water quality parameters and ensure compliance with client specifications.
Maintain daily operation logs, reports, and plant records.
Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities with the maintenance team.
Ensure availability of chemicals, consumables, and spare parts.
Coordinate with clients regarding operational activities and resolve routine issues.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE usage, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements.
Conduct toolbox talks and promote protected working practices.
Support audits, inspections,
and statutory compliance activities.
Report operational issues, breakdowns, and corrective actions to the Site In-Charge.
Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness of the plant area.
Train and guide operators on standard operating procedures and safety practices.
