Key Responsibilities:
Prepare electrical drawings for AIS / GIS substations ranging from 220kV to 765kV.
Develop and modify drawings including:
Substation General Arrangement (GA) layouts
Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and System Layouts
Equipment layout & bay layouts
Busbar arrangements (Main, Transfer, Double Bus, etc.)
Cable trench layouts, routing & schedules
Control room layouts, panel arrangement drawings
Earthing layout drawings
Lighting layouts (yard & control room)
Prepare Tender drawings, Detailed Engineering drawings
Collaborate with electrical engineers and project teams to develop and modify designs.
Support in material take-offs and quantity estimations when required.
Work closely with design team to incorporate survey findings into project layouts.
Skills:
knowledge of construction methodologies, and materials for substation projects.
knowledge of construction methodologies, and materials for Distribution projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and Excel.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
