We are seeking an experienced Steel Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and oversee the execution of structural steel projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, cost-effective, and high-quality structural designs in compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and analyze steel structures such as industrial buildings, commercial structures, and infrastructure projects.
Prepare detailed structural calculations, drawings, and reports.
Review and approve shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection plans.
Coordinate with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines.
Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and standards (e.g., IS, AISC, Eurocode).
Perform structural analysis using software tools like STAAD Pro, ETABS, Tekla, etc.
Conduct site visits and provide technical support during fabrication and erection.
Identify and resolve design issues, ensuring project timelines are met.
Optimize designs for cost efficiency and constructability.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
3+ years of experience in steel structure design and detailing.
Strong knowledge of steel design codes and standards.
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000).
Experience with detailing tools like Tekla Structures or AutoCAD.
Positive understanding of fabrication and erection processes.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
