Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, etc.).
Ensure timely filing of GST returns and tax payments.
Reconcile GST data with accounting records, purchase registers, and sales registers.
Monitor Input Tax Credit (ITC) eligibility and reconciliations.
Handle GST assessments, notices, audits, and departmental inquiries.
Track changes in GST laws and advise management on their impact.
Coordinate with finance, accounts, procurement, and operations teams for GST compliance.
Review vendor and customer GST compliance to minimize tax risks.
Prepare GST-related reports and management dashboards.
Support statutory audits and internal audits.
Identify prospects for tax optimization while ensuring compliance.
Maintain GST documentation and records.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
CA qualification preferred.
2- 4 years of experience in direct taxation/GST compliance.
Solid knowledge of GST laws, rules, and regulations.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally.
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
