What you’ll be doing
The Engine Expert is responsible for technical ownership, performance optimization, diagnostics, and lifecycle management of engines used in construction and mining equipment. The role involves close collaboration with OEMs, internal engineering teams, service networks, and customers to ensure reliability, emissions compliance, fuel efficiency, and uptime across the equipment fleet.




Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for engines used in construction and mining equipment across power ranges
Lead engine integration activities including cooling systems, air intake, exhaust after-treatment, mounting, and driveline interfaces
Provide advanced diagnostics and root cause analysis (RCA) for engine-related failures in field and factory
Support field service teams and dealers in resolving complex engine issues such as:
Overheating
Abnormal vibrations/noise
Power derations
Excessive fuel or oil consumption
After-treatment or emission system failures
Analyze failure trends using telematics, warranty data, and field reports.
Drive corrective and preventive action (CAPA) execution across product lines.
Support engine emission certification, documentation, and audit requirements.
Develop and review engine service manuals, maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting guides
