Job Title : Senior Analyst Cosmetic Product Testing Laboratory

Minimum Qualification
B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry (preferred specialization in Analytical or Organic Chemistry).

Experience Requirement
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in cosmetic product testing laboratory.
Proven expertise in BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) specifications and test methods for cosmetic products.
Prior experience in handling and guiding junior analysts.
FDCA approval as a Technical Person for review and signing analytical reports

Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the cosmetic testing team to ensure accurate and timely analysis.
Plan, assign, and review testing activities for cosmetic products such as:
White tone powder
Face cream
Shampoo
Sunscreen cream
Toothpaste
Hair dyes
Ensure compliance with BIS testing procedures and maintain documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with BIS guidelines.
Train junior analysts on testing methodologies, safety practices,



and quality assurance.
Coordinate with management for resource planning, instrumentation, and workflow optimization.
Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to clients and regulatory authorities.

Required Skills
Robust knowledge of BIS testing parameters for cosmetic products (physical, chemical, and microbiological).
Ability to interpret BIS specifications and apply them to routine and specialized testing.
Leadership and team management skills with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Proficiency in laboratory instrumentation relevant to cosmetic testing.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
