Role & responsibilities

Lead end-to-end management of Raw Materials, Packing Materials, Consumables, Stores & Spares and Scrap.

Ensure accurate, real-time inventory accounting through the ERP system with complete transaction integrity.

Control, monitor and reconcile all inter-unit/inter-store stock transfers; ensure timely closure of pending transfer
differences.

Maintain optimum inventory levels and control slow-moving, non-moving, excess and obsolete inventory.

Ensure periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation of physical stock with ERP/book stock; investigate
and resolve variances.

Implement FIFO, proper storage, identification, preservation and warehouse best practices.

Coordinate closely with Purchase, Production, Planning, Quality, Finance and Dispatch for seamless material flow.

Strengthen inventory controls, documentation, SOP compliance, 5S, safety practices and statutory requirements.

Support Internal,



Cost, Statutory and Stock Audits and ensure timely compliance with audit observations.

Develop and lead the Stores team by driving productivity, discipline, accountability and continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate in Commerce, Science or Engineering (Postgraduate qualification in Materials Management / Supply
Chain preferred).
