We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Workshop Manager to oversee our service center operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day workshop activities, leading a team of mechanics and service advisors, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and achieving service revenue targets. Deep knowledge of two-wheeler servicing (preferably TVS Motors) and solid leadership skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Workshop Operations: Oversee the entire service workshop, ensuring smooth workflow, optimal productivity, and timely delivery of serviced vehicles.
Team Management: Manage, train, and motivate a team of technicians, mechanics, supervisor, and service advisors to meet quality standards.
Customer Satisfaction (CSI): Address customer complaints promptly, handle escalations, and ensure an excellent after-sales service experience.
Revenue & Targets: Drive the workshop to achieve monthly service, spare parts, and labor revenue targets.
Inventory & Spare Parts: Coordinate with the parts department to ensure the availability of required spares and minimize vehicle turnaround time (TAT).
Quality Control: Ensure all repairs and maintenance work adhere to TVS Motors' prescribed guidelines and safety standards.
Reporting: Maintain accurate data on daily job cards, continuous workflow, and present performance reports to the management.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 1 to 6 years of experience in managing a two-wheeler automobile workshop (experience with a main dealer layout is highly preferred).
Education: Diploma/Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Technical Skills: Robust technical knowledge of two-wheeler engines, electrical systems, and troubleshooting (knowledge of TVS vehicles like Jupiter, Apache, etc., is a huge plus).
Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, team management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Computer Literacy: Basic knowledge of MS Excel and automated dealer management systems/software for generating job cards and billing.
What We Offer
Salary: 3.00 Lakhs to 4.75 Lakhs per annum (based on experience).
