Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical drafting.
Hands-on experience in steel structural fabrication drawings, workshop layouts, and industrial piping systems.

Preferred Candidate Location:
Candidates residing in Navi Mumbai or nearby areas will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed fabrication, assembly, and installation drawings for steel structures, workshop layouts, and piping systems.
Develop and maintain accurate 2D drawings and 3D models based on engineering designs and project specifications.
Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings, detailed fabrication drawings, piping layouts, and related documentation.
Independently prepare drawings once the engineering concept or design scheme has been explained.
Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on approved drawings and project specifications.
Perform quantity take-offs, prepare material estimates,
and assist in project costing and estimation.
Revise drawings based on engineering comments and ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure timely delivery of drawings.
Required Skills
Expert proficiency in AutoCAD.
Proficiency in 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Tekla, or equivalent).
Positive working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Solid understanding of steel structures, workshop layouts, and piping systems.
Knowledge of BOM preparation, BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, and basic project costing.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy.
Qualifications
ITI Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Draftsmanship from a recognized institution.
