SUMMARY
The role requires a high-caliber skilled to join our Merchant Banking unit. This is a dual-role leadership position requiring a "hunter-executor" hybrid—someone who can independently originate high-value mandates while maintaining the technical rigor to oversee seamless execution. The ideal candidate will bring a sophisticated understanding of capital markets and a deep network of corporate relationships, ensuring the firm remains a dominant player in the competitive advisory landscape. He has to take the responsibility of building the entire team, training and allocating responsibilities.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Revenue Generation: Identify and originate recent mandates across IPOs, Rights Issues, QIPs, Open Offers, and Buybacks. You will be responsible for meeting annual fee income targets and expanding the firm’s market share.
Transaction Execution: Lead the end-to-end execution of capital market transactions. This includes overseeing due diligence, drafting offer documents (DRHP/RHP),



and managing the regulatory interface with SEBI and Stock Exchanges.
Sector-Agnostic Advisory: Provide strategic financial counsel to clients across diverse industries, focusing on capital structuring and navigating complex regulatory frameworks.
Relationship Management: Build and sustain long-term relationships with C-suite executives, promoters, and institutional investors.
Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior associates and analysts, ensuring all deliverables meet the highest institutional standards of quality and compliance.
TIME RECORDING:
Accurately record chargeable time and value of service, ensure effective monitoring of transactions, handle pricing, invoicing and collection of outstanding fees for the portfolio of clients. - Monitor own productivity and chargeability on weekly basis and review productivity and performance against targets. to ensure that individual financial targets and client communication KPI
