As a Manager, Statistical Programming at ICON, you will lead a team of statistical programmers in the development and validation of statistical analysis and reporting solutions for clinical trials.
What You Will Do:
You will manage day-to-day statistical programming activities, supporting your team to deliver quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing the programming activities related to clinical trial data, including the creation of statistical analysis plans, datasets, and tables, listings, and figures (TLFs).
Managing and mentoring a team of statistical programmers, fostering a team-oriented and high-performing work environment.
Collaborating with biostatisticians and clinical teams to ensure alignment of programming activities with study objectives and timelines.
Reviewing and validating programming outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Staying updated on industry best practices and advancements in statistical programming tools and techniques to enhance efficiency and quality.
Your Profile:
You will have solid statistical programming experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop your team.
Required qualifications and experience:
Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline
Extensive experience in statistical programming within clinical research, with a solid knowledge of programming languages such as SAS or R.
Proven leadership skills, with experience managing programming teams and overseeing project deliverables.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex statistical concepts effectively.
