Recent Product Development (NPD)
Lead end-to-end product development for convenience food and beverage products from concept to commercialization.
Develop cutting-edge formulations based on customer briefs, market trends, and business requirements.
Optimize recipes for taste, nutrition, shelf life, functionality, and cost.
Conduct product benchmarking and competitive analysis to identify innovation opportunities.
Develop prototypes and present product solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
Commercialization & Scale-up
Drive pilot trials and commercial production trials at manufacturing partner facilities.
Ensure smooth technology transfer from laboratory development to commercial manufacturing.
Standardize manufacturing processes, process parameters, and product specifications.
Resolve technical issues during production scale-up and commercialization.
Coordinate successful first commercial production runs.
Customer & Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Sales and Business Development teams to understand customer requirements.
Participate in customer meetings, product presentations,



and technical discussions.
Provide technical support throughout the product development lifecycle.
Collaborate with Procurement, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and Manufacturing partners to ensure successful product launches.
Quality & Regulatory
Ensure products comply with FSSAI and applicable food safety regulations.
Develop product specifications, SOPs, BOMs, and technical documentation.
Coordinate product stability studies and shelf-life validation.
Ensure consistent product quality during commercialization.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related discipline.
510 years of experience in Food R&D; with significant exposure to Current Product Development and Commercialization.
Experience in Convenience Foods and Beverages is mandatory.
Experience in FMCG, Food Manufacturing, CDMO/CRDMO, Contract Manufacturing, or Food Ingredient companies is preferred.
