Job Summary
The Physician Assistant – Cardiology will assist Cardiologists in delivering quality patient care by supporting OPD consultations, inpatient management, clinical documentation, patient monitoring, and coordination of cardiac investigations and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Cardiologists during OPD consultations, ward rounds, and cardiac procedures.
Take patient history, record vital signs, and document clinical findings.
Coordinate cardiac investigations such as ECG, 2D Echo, TMT, Holter Monitoring, and laboratory tests.
Monitor patients before and after cardiac procedures as per consultant instructions.
Review investigation reports and promptly communicate critical findings to the consultant.
Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharge processes for cardiology patients.
Maintain accurate patient records,



discharge summaries, and clinical documentation in the HMIS.
Educate patients and relatives regarding medications, lifestyle modifications, follow-up schedules, and treatment plans.
Coordinate with nursing, cath lab, diagnostics, and other departments for seamless patient care.
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, quality standards, and infection control practices.

Qualification
BAMS / BHMS (Mandatory)
Valid registration with the respective State Medical Council.

Experience
0–3 years of clinical experience.
Experience in a hospital, ICU, or Cardiology department will be preferred.
