We are looking for a Lead Python Developer with robust expertise in PostgreSQL and telecom domain exposure to drive next-generation digital transformation initiatives. This role involves building scalable backend systems, enabling OSS/BSS integrations, and supporting telecom clients in areas such as network automation, service orchestration, and customer experience platforms.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end design and development of backend systems using Python
Build and optimize data-driven applications leveraging PostgreSQL
Work on telecom-specific platforms including OSS/BSS systems
Design APIs and microservices for seamless system integrations
Drive network automation and service provisioning workflows
Collaborate with client stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams
Mentor team members, enforce coding standards, and conduct reviews
Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Robust experience in Python (Django / Flask / FastAPI)
Deep expertise in PostgreSQL
Performance tuning and query optimization
Indexing, partitioning, and schema design
Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
Experience working with telecom systems:
OSS/BSS platforms
Order management, service provisioning, or billing systems
Hands-on experience with ORMs (SQLAlchemy / Django ORM)
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Proficiency in Git and CI/CD practices
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Telecom Domain Expertise (Preferred)
Understanding of telecom frameworks such as:
TM Forum (eTOM, SID, Open APIs)
Experience in areas like:
Network inventory management
Service orchestration
5G / Fiber / Broadband systems
Integration experience with third-party telecom platforms
