The role focuses on customer service, account-related assistance, and supporting branch operations while ensuring a positive customer experience. Axis Bank provides role-based training for Front Desk Officers to build customer service, compliance, and banking knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome customers and understand their banking requirements.

Guide customers for account opening, KYC documentation, and service requests.

Handle customer queries related to savings/current accounts, debit cards, cheque books, internet banking, and mobile banking.

Manage customer tokens and direct customers to the appropriate department.

Assist customers in using self-service channels such as ATMs, cash deposit machines, and digital banking.

Maintain customer records and ensure proper documentation.

Coordinate with Relationship Managers and Operations staff for quick issue resolution.





Promote banking products such as Savings Accounts, Fixed Deposits, Credit Cards, Insurance, and Digital Banking services when appropriate.

Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and the bank's internal policies.

Required Skills

Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and the local language.

Customer handling and problem-solving ability.

Basic computer knowledge and MS Office.

Pleasant personality and qualified appearance.
