Patient Oriented:
Assist the technologists set the patients on the machine, [LA /CT Scan]
Assist the anesthetist in administering the anesthesia for the Brachytherapy patient in the department.
Assist the oncologists in administering the Brachytherapy.
Administer IV contrast for the CT Scan planning patients.
Maintain a cordial relationship with the patient coming for the treatment in the department.
Aid a patient in the wheelchair or stretcher to the treatment couch and back.
Inventory Oriented:
Maintaining inventory records of Crash cart
Indenting materials
Daily stock checks of materials
Showing Consumption of used materials
Medication related:
Maintaining inventory records of medicines used in the Brachy therapy
Indenting medicines
Daily stock checks of medicines
Showing Consumption of used medicines
Department related:
Co-ordinating with the patient and doctor, and technologists and also the Major OT booking and the booking of an anesthetist for the Brachytherapy.
Maintain a list of the patients treated in the department and for what in the Brachtherapy.
Co-ordinate with the front office for the billing of the patients on Brachytherapy.
