JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Design Phase:
Responsible to design production layouts and processes with the purpose of increasing productivity, eliminating wastefulness, reducing costs, and ensuring quality standards are maintained.
Responsible to design detail layout of facilities, using suitable CAD software, determining capital and auxiliary equipment as well as system and personnel requirements both white and blue collar.
Responsible to implement cost control, labour, equipment and materials, system to capture production costs.
Provide training to production staff on recent processes and systems.
Assist Manufacturing Engineers for preparing material and equipment lists, purchase orders, cost analyses, and estimated production costs.




Manage process documentation and prepare production reports and KPIs such as labour productivity and OEE of equipment.
Assist the development and implementation ofquality control procedures and systems to ensure products meet customer specifications (SQCDP, APQP).

Prototype Phase:
Responsible to conduct time and motion studies to map current state and identify areas for improvement in production processes.
Verify production flow and perform necessary adjustments.
Test cost capturing systems.
Verify MBOMs.
Apply KPIs and quality control procedures and systems.

Serial Production & Improvement Phase:
Analyse production data to identify trends and areas for improvement and developing and implementing cost reduction strategies.
Collaborate with other engineers and managers to develop and implement process improvements and technological upgrades.
Prepare reports and presentations on production data and KPIs.
