We are seeking an Assistant Vice President of Software Engineering & Development to develop and deliver technology solutions supporting Banking systems including Demand Deposit Accounting, , blending analysis and development to identify and drive processing improvements.

Within GTS, this role aligns to the Banking value stream, focused on designing and delivering technology solutions that support high‑volume, time‑critical processing. The position plays a pivotal role in optimizing key functional processes to improve our data delivery times to meet client expectations.
What you will be responsible for
As an AVP of Software Engineering & Development you will:
Identify and mitigate risks using robust problem-solving abilities and effective communication Design and implement scalable, productive,



and secure system solutions in alignment with business requirements in the Banking domain. Proactively identify system bottlenecks using log analysis, metrics, and transaction tracing to address latency, throughput, and resource contention issues. Ensure solutions meet required security, compliance, and operational readiness standards Resolve application defects and provide solutions for application issues, ensuring timely and sustainable fixes. Work closely with the Product Owners and others on requirements analysis, planning, project management, and execution. Implement and optimize database queries and stored procedures to support application functionality and performance. What we value
