Technical Project Manager – Java Location: Chennai (Work from Office)

Anoud Technologies is looking for a seasoned Technical Project Manager with solid Java-based development expertise and mandatory experience in the Insurance domain to lead cross-functional engineering teams. The ideal candidate combines deep technical understanding with proven project leadership skills, ensuring complex insurance-related projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard of quality.

Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of Java-based software projects within the Insurance domain (Life, P&C;, Health, or General Insurance).

Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical specifications in collaboration with architects and development teams.

Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks using Agile/Scrum or hybrid methodologies.

Review technical designs and code quality at a high level to ensure alignment with project goals.

Identify and mitigate technical, compliance,



and project risks proactively.

Coordinate with QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployments.

Track project KPIs and prepare status reports for leadership and clients.

Mentor junior project coordinators and support team capability building.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

~10–16 years of overall experience in software development, with at least 4–6 years in a Technical Project Management role.

~ Hands-on experience working in the Insurance domain (policy administration, claims, underwriting, billing, or related systems).

~ Robust hands-on background in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and related frameworks.

~ Solid understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL), APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

~ Proven experience managing Agile/Scrum projects; PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM certification preferred.
