Core duties and responsibilities
Drafting and modeling:
Create detailed technical drawings, 2D and 3D models, and schematics using AutoCAD software.
Collaboration and communication:
Work closely with engineers, architects, and other team members to discuss designs, gather requirements, and ensure accuracy.
Design review and revision:
Interpret sketches and specifications, perform quality checks, and revise drawings based on feedback from clients and project managers.
File and document management:
Organize and maintain drawing files, project documentation, and revision histories.
Quality and compliance:
Ensure all drawings are accurate, complete, and compliant with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Calculations and specifications:
Calculate dimensions, weight limitations, and other specifications to ensure designs are functional and secure.
