Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Process Engineering & Design
Develop water and wastewater treatment process designs using engineering principles (e.g., biological, chemical, physical treatment methods).
Prepare Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;), mass/energy balances, and equipment sizing.
Select appropriate treatment technologies (e.g., STP/ETP/WTP, MBR, MBBR, RO, UF, ZLD, filters, ion exchange).
Perform process calculations (hydraulics, influent/effluent load, chemical dosing needs).

Documentation & Reports
Prepare technical design reports, datasheets, process descriptions, and specification documents.
Ensure design documentation meets regulatory, safety, and quality standards.

Project & Team Collaboration
Work with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineers.
Support tender/proposal preparation, client technical reviews, and design handover to execution teams.





Execution Support
Participate in design reviews and hazard studies (e.g., HAZOP).
Provide engineering support during construction, commissioning, and start-up as needed.
Troubleshoot process issues and recommend optimization strategies.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills
Solid understanding of water/wastewater treatment principles and technologies.
Proficiency with process design tools and documentation (PFD, P&ID;, mass balance).
Ability to perform process calculations and equipment sizing.
Familiarity with industry standards, regulatory norms, and environmental guidelines.

Soft Skills
Effective communication (technical writing and client interaction).
Teamwork and cross-disciplinary coordination.
Problem-solving and attention to detail
