Job Description:

Position: Sr. Purchase Engineer

Location: Ghatkopar - Mumbai

Experience: 5 - 8 Years

Industries: Engineering

Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end procurement of raw materials, components, machinery, and services
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals
- Manage ERP-based procurement systems for purchase orders, inventory tracking, and reporting
- Conduct vendor development, evaluation, and performance management
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with suppliers
- Perform market research and cost analysis to ensure cost-effective sourcing
- Ensure timely availability of materials to support production schedules.
- Maintain robust relationships with domestic and international suppliers
- Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply risks
- Optimize procurement processes for efficiency and cost savings
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal, and ethical procurement standards
- Manage import/export documentation and global sourcing activities
- Drive budget planning, cost control,



and procurement forecasting
- Implement risk management strategies to avoid supply chain disruptions
- Prepare procurement reports, MIS, and performance dashboards
- Lead and mentor the purchase/procurement team

Required Skills:

- Strong experience in procurement within manufacturing / pharma / equipment industry
- Expertise in vendor management and contract negotiation
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems
- Understanding of import/export documentation and compliance
- Strong analytical and cost optimization skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Strong decision-making and strategic thinking mind-set
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Required Qualification: - Any Engineering

Salary: - Upto 8.50 LPA
