Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Plant Head to lead operations at an automobile scrapping unit. The role involves managing end-to-end plant activities, ensuring compliance, optimizing processes, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee complete plant operations including vehicle dismantling and scrapping processes
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and environmental norms
- Manage plant staff, supervisors, and technicians
- Plan and monitor daily production and operational targets
- Implement safety standards and ensure workplace safety compliance
- Coordinate procurement, inventory, and disposal of scrap materials
- Maintain machinery, equipment, and operational efficiency




- Monitor costs, budgets, and profitability of plant operations
- Develop and implement process improvements for productivity and quality
- Liaise with vendors, transporters, and regulatory authorities

Requirements:

- 8–12 years of experience in automobile/manufacturing/scrapping industry
- Robust knowledge of vehicle dismantling and recycling processes
- Familiarity with pollution control and compliance norms
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Good understanding of plant operations, inventory, and logistics
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Preferred Candidate:

- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
- Experience in vehicle scrapping or recycling plants
- Knowledge of government policies related to scrappage
