The Role IRTE is looking for a Content Writer who can translate deep institutional knowledge into transparent, compelling, and well-structured written content – across a website, a blog, LinkedIn articles, social captions, and X commentary. You will be working with a subject matter that includes road safety policy, traffic enforcement, forensic science, and public health – you do not need to be an expert on day one, but you must be the kind of writer who becomes one quickly.

Website Content

Rewrite IRTE's website content whenever needed – audience-led navigation copy, headlines that communicates what IRTE is, understanding and maintaining hygiene

Write and restructure department pages whenever needed (Traffic Enforcement, Forensic Science, Traffic Engineering, Driver Training & Road Safety Education, Public Health for Road Safety, Law) – scannable, formatted, and compelling

Write the Leadership page, and Programmes pages with the depth and clarity that institutional visitors – policymakers, journalists, prospective students– expect





Collaborate with the website developer on copy requirements for any current pages or sections

Maintain and update website content as programmes, events, and affiliations change

Blog & Content Hub

Write a minimum of 2 blog posts per month covering road safety policy, traffic management, enforcement, forensic science, and public health – with research-backed arguments, not opinion pieces

Develop evergreen content: explainers (What is a Forensic Road Safety Audit?), case studies (IRTE's Bihar Secure System project), and data-led pieces (India's road crash statistics decoded)

Repurpose blog content for LinkedIn articles and social carousels in coordination with the Social Media Manager

LinkedIn Long-Form Content

Write long-form LinkedIn articles for the IRTE organisation page – policy commentaries, programme spotlights, event recaps, and thought leadership pieces
