Job Description:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES of Production Manager:

Planning
Production planning
Resource Planning (Man, Machine, Materials)
Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and production specifications.
Plan workflow and schedules for production departments.

Execution
Production execution
Co-ordination between shift supervisors
Oversee production processes
Selection of purchasing materials required for production
Machine Equipment Installation commissioning of machines

Monitoring
Monitor, Measure Report on Manufacturing Plans Achievements within Agreed Formats Timescales.
Cross Audits of inter Dept. for safety & quality.

Improvements
Evaluate current production processes and recommend improvements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualifications of the Planning Manager
Robust organizational and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to manage people and processes




Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes and production management systems
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, ISO 9001, and other quality management systems
Experience in scheduling and production planning
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Diploma in Mechanical / Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Management related field
Experience of 10 to 15 years in a manufacturing or production management environment
Water and oil supply Valve industry experience are plus point for selection.

Education of the Planning Manager
BE Mechanical with 10 years of experience.
Diploma in Mechanical with 15 years’ experience.
Valuable Oral / written English Communication
