This position involves developing and maintaining scalable server-side applications using Node.js to deliver high-quality, productive solutions for web applications. You will work closely with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration, optimize performance, and enhance overall functionality. Key responsibilities include managing the interchange of data between the server and users, developing server-side logic, maintaining databases, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and related technologies
Write reusable, testable, and productive code
Design and implement low-latency, high-availability applications
Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
Integrate data storage solutions, including databases, key-value stores, and blob storage
Communicate task progress and project updates to clients and team members
Investigate current technologies to enhance client solutions
Maintain clear code comments and organized project files
Contribute to technical documentation and deployment guides
Perform testing and collaborate with QA to ensure applications meet standards, taking ownership of error and bug minimization
Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and functionality
Regularly review existing tests to ensure code coverage is matching accepted level
Review code to ensure it is maintainable, error-free, and compliant with project requirements
Provide feedback and training to junior developers
