The Shipping Documentation Executive will handle all export documentation and coordination for metal shipments, ensuring compliance with customs, banking, and LC (Letter of Credit) requirements. The role demands solid attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and coordination with logistics partners and internal teams

Roles & Responsibilities:
Prepare and verify all pre-shipment and post-shipment export documents such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, and others.
Ensure documents comply with Letter of Credit (LC) and buyer requirements.
Coordinate with shipping lines, CHA, and freight forwarders for booking and dispatch.
Handle submission of export documents to banks for negotiation and payment realization.
Liaise with internal teams (sales, accounts, and production) for shipment scheduling and readiness.
Maintain accurate documentation records and ensure compliance with DGFT and customs norms.




Track shipments and update clients and management on dispatch status.
Handle amendments and discrepancies in export documentation when required
Accuracy and completeness of export documentation.
Timely submission of LC/bank documents.
Smooth coordination with shipping and logistics partners.
Compliance with export regulations and timelines.
Robust knowledge of export documentation procedures and LC terms.
Experience working with CHA, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.
Familiarity with INCOTERMS, DGFT, and customs procedures.
Positive command over MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience in the metal export/trading or manufacturing industry.
Hands-on experience in EDI filing and export documentation portals.
Knowledge of banking documentation under LC terms.
