On-the-job training and support throughout your apprenticeship
This is a full time position with a 38-hour work week over four years, with the prospect for ongoing employment after successfully completing your apprenticeship.
What does a Plumber do?
As a Plumber, you’ll learn how to:
Install and maintain water, drainage and piping systems
Read plans and technical drawings
Use hand and power tools safely
Diagnose and solve plumbing issues
Work on a variety of industrial and project-based work
Work as part of a skilled team supporting local industry
What you can expect as an Aestec Apprentice
Earn while you learn
Gain a nationally recognised trade qualification – Certificate III in Plumbing
Obtain your QBCC Plumber & Drainer Licence
Receive on-the-job training and support throughout your apprenticeship
Learn both in the workplace and at TAFE
