Senior Executive/Lead Execuitve – Mechanical Sourcing (Aerospace & Defence )

Position: Senior Executive / Engineer – Mechanical Sourcing

Experience: 6–8 Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering

Industry Preference: Aerospace / Defence

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Mechanical Sourcing skilled with 6–8 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement of mechanical components for the Aerospace & Defence industry. The ideal candidate should have robust technical knowledge of machining, casting, sheet metal, and stamping components, along with expertise in supplier development, cost optimization, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities
Source and procure mechanical components including Sheet Metal, Machining, Casting, and Stamping parts.
Evaluate supplier capabilities, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure timely procurement to support production requirements.
Develop current suppliers and manage the complete vendor development and part development process.
Review RFQs, technical drawings,



specifications, and customer requirements to ensure supplier capability and compliance.
Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Suppliers during RFQ, NPI, and project execution.
Perform cost analysis and identify cost reduction opportunities through value engineering, alternate sourcing, process improvements, and commercial negotiations.
Drive supplier performance in terms of Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Responsiveness (QCD).
Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time availability of materials and components for production.
Ensure compliance with Aerospace & Defence quality standards, customer requirements, and purchasing procedures.
Maintain sourcing documentation, supplier records, and procurement reports.
