Role Description
This is a full time remote role for a Tax Accountant at a growing U.S.-based company. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for helping us scale operations, with a solid preference for someone who is fluent in Chinese to better serve our expanding Chinese-speaking client base.
Qualifications
Language requirement: Proficiency in both English and Mandarin/Chinese is required and non-negotiable
Experience: 3+ years of related experience
1–3+ years of experience in US tax preparation (U.S. personal and business taxes) is required
Proficient in handling sales tax and payroll tax
Fluent in Chinese-Mandarin – verbal and written.
Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (including Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Highly detail-oriented, trustworthy, and organized
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment




Robust communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Willing and able to learn internal tools and adhere to our security protocols

Responsibilities
Prepare and file personal and business tax returns
Handle sales tax and payroll tax filings
Review client-provided financial information and ensure accuracy
Communicate with clients regarding tax-related documents and deadlines
Assist in maintaining up-to-date client records and documentation
Be available for extended hours during tax season

​​​​Compensation
$ 1,500 - $ 2,500 per month, paid in USD depending on experience.
Details
Independent contractor agreement paid 2x monthly.
