Trefis provides a new breed of fundamental analysis and visualization tools to retail and institutional investors.
We started a few years ago with a team of three, but have grown rapidly and now count consulting firms, top 5 banks, and Fortune 500 companies as our customers. Yet we are only getting started towards our goal of monetizing a $30B+ market. Executed properly, our product will be hugely disruptive to the investment banking industry.

TREFIS VISUALIZATION TECHNOLOGY
Trefis has developed unique technology to convert Excel-based financial models into interactive online analyses (visualizations) as demonstrated on the Trefis.com website (search for AAPL on the website). We have partnered with some of the world’s most significant and prestigious financial research providers to provide interactive versions of their financial research online.
ABOUT THE ROLE




We are looking for someone to play a key role in providing technical know-how and engineering support as part of a team effort to review financial models of Trefis partners. Tasks will include troubleshooting, optimizing efficiency, and planning and developing new features for Trefis visualization technology. The role will involve working closely with a team of analysts and engineers based in Delhi and Boston. High performing individuals will have the chance to take on greater responsibility defining the Trefis product and designing and implementing solutions.
REQUIRED SKILLS
The ideal candidate:
has experience in both Java and JavaScript has excellent analytical reasoning and debugging skills (e.g. using Java debuggers and Firebug or Chrome webtools) is comfortable in a Linux setting, including facility with bash scripts, reading logs, and server maintenance is proficient in Excel thrives in a rapid-paced, entrepreneurial environment is extremely det
