Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Associate Nurse Unit Managers to join the Urgent Care Centre (UCC) team at Craigieburn Community Hospital.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist,



community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our six main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals Centres and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.
About the Role:
This role is responsible for:
Providing leadership and supervision of nursing staff on a shift-by-shift basis.
Coordinating and allocating staff according to workload, acuity and skill mix.
Acting in the Nurse Unit Manager role when required.
Supporting staff performance management, mentoring and career development.
Ensuring secure, effective and high-quality patient care in accordance with policies and standards.
Managing patient flow, staffing resources and electronic rostering.
