Job Description: Responsible for ensuring sheet metal press components meet strict automotive standards. Core duties include conducting first-piece inspections, performing process/ Pokayoke audits, monitoring in-house rejections (IHR), and managing documentation for IATF requirements. Specific responsibilities and requirements for this role often include: Core Responsibilities
Inspections: Conduct 1st piece inspections against samples and ensure components meet drawing specifications.
Process Audits: Perform process parameter audits, Poka-Yoke audits, and monitor in-process documents (IPO).
Rejection Control: Implement action plans for In-House Rejections (IHR) and maintain daily rejection/rework data documentation.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain necessary QA documentation as per IATF requirements.
Customer & Supplier Focus: Verify customer complaint action sustenance and monitor deviation notes.
Key Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Production, or Automobile).
Experience: 3 to 5 years in the sheet metal industry (specifically Press, and Weld shops).
Skillset: Robust understanding of sheet metal defects, CMM reports, part thinning, and gauge calibration
