Position Title: Assistant Manager – Civil & Structural Design

Role Purpose
The Assistant Manager – Civil & Structural Design will be responsible for planning, analysis, design, and review of civil and structural systems for industrial projects. The role involves technical leadership, design coordination, compliance with applicable codes, and interface with multidisciplinary teams to deliver protected, cost-effective, and constructible designs.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute civil and structural design activities for assigned projects from concept through detailed engineering. Perform structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures including foundations, buildings, sheds, equipment supports, and underground structures. Prepare and review design calculations, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents. Ensure compliance with applicable Indian and international codes (IS, ACI, ASTM, Eurocodes where applicable).



Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and process teams for integrated design delivery. Review and approve drawings and calculations prepared by junior engineers and external consultants. Provide technical support during construction, including resolving site queries, design modifications, and value engineering proposals. Participate in design reviews, HAZIDs, and constructability assessments. Monitor design schedules, deliverables, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. Interface with clients, contractors, and third-party consultants on technical matters. Contribute to design standardization, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support tendering and estimation activities, including review of specifications and preliminary designs.
