Job Description: An electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems in buildings and structures. They also diagnose and resolve electrical issues. Responsibilities

- Install electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment
- Repair and replace faulty parts in electrical components
- Maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment

- Test electrical systems for problematic components

- Improve and modernize electrical systems

- Design motor power control circuits

- Read and understand schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints

- Plan and write work orders or instructions

- Complete precautionary maintenance tasks

Skills and qualifications
- Expertise in various electrical systems, tools, and safety regulations

- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work well in a team

- Ability to read blueprints and interpret them

- Familiarity with commonly-used electrical tools and various components
