Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including but not limited to accounts payable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Ensure invoices are processed and paid in accordance with payment terms.
- Collaborate closely with the US-based accounting team to ensure accurate and timely communication of financial data and reports.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, documents, and reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Reconcile discrepancies and resolve any issues related to financial transactions and records.
- Assist with tax-related matters, including indirect taxes, income taxes, and withholding tax calculations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor changes in accounting regulations and best practices, and ensure the company's accounting processes remain compliant.




- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
- Provide support during external audits and collaborate with auditors as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and sensitive company information.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or equivalent are a plus.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in general accounting roles, preferably with exposure to US GAAP
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools. Experience with Microsoft Business Central
- Strong understanding of Indian and US tax regulations, and experience in handling cross-border transactions is desirable.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with acute attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Solid problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Other Requirements

- Will require work on some nights till 8:00PM
- Proficient in English
