We are seeking a Senior Finance & Accounting Analyst to join our Central Data Office. This role is ideal for a finance-qualified professional with solid accounting expertise and a passion for data, reporting and business improvement.
Working closely with Finance, Data and Business Intelligence teams, you will help establish consistent financial definitions, standardise reporting processes and ensure trusted, governed data is available across the organisation. While the role includes some report development, its primary focus is on finance data mapping, KPI definition, validation, reconciliation and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and standardise finance semantics, KPIs and reporting definitions across multiple operating companies, including P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Working Capital, Cost Centres, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger structures.
Lead workshops with finance stakeholders to agree consistent definitions, business rules and reporting requirements.
Produce transparent finance mapping specifications,
decision logs and acceptance criteria for technical and data teams.
Define validation, reconciliation and audit controls to ensure accuracy, traceability and trust in reporting outputs.
Drive standardisation and help eliminate inconsistent interpretations of financial data across the business.
Contribute to governed semantic models and self-service datasets, ensuring calculations and business logic are applied consistently.
Build and maintain a select suite of standard finance reports aligned to business reporting requirements.
Work collaboratively with Finance, Business Intelligence and Data teams to deliver effective reporting and analytics solutions.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent recognised accountancy qualification).
Robust understanding of financial statements and core finance processes.
Experience defining financial KPI
