Title: Office Assistant – Nuclear Medicine

Patient-Oriented Responsibilities
Take care of patients' comfort during the procedure.
Position patients on the scanner.
Coordinate and assist technicians, nursing staff, front office, and medical transcriptionists.
Shift portable equipment and instruments within the department.
Assist disabled patients using wheelchairs or stretchers.
Transfer patients from one department to another.
Assist patients during procedures.
Help patients change into hospital garments.
Provide patients with water/oral contrast.
Attend patient calls in the post-injection waiting area and provide necessary assistance.
Inventory-Oriented Responsibilities
Collect materials from stores and pharmacy.
Arrange and organize departmental stock.
Medication-Related Responsibilities

Department-Related Responsibilities
Coordinate departmental requirements.
Clean all medical equipment.
Take photocopies, scans,
and laminations of required documents.
Transfer documents and papers within the department and hospital.
Assist in collecting and dispatching reports, patient files, CDs, and images.
Make beds.
Complete documentation as required.
Dispatch couriers.
Complete filing work.
Monitor departmental cleanliness.
Dispose of old newspapers and magazines.
