Lyra is looking for a Tax Compliance Manager to report to the Head of Tax – Lyra International. This role is central to supporting the group's global tax footprint across the US, EU, UK, South Africa, APAC, and the Middle East. You will focus on supporting the group’s with tax compliance across jurisdictions, strengthening tax governance, identifying process efficiencies,
and leveraging automation to scale our tax function capability.
The ideal candidate has a solid tax compliance background in an international setting and is comfortable working with a diverse team in cross functional settings to ensure tax compliance obligations are met, while maximising data accuracy and auditability.
Key Responsibilities
• Support end-to-end compliance: Oversee the preparation and filing of global corporate tax returns and VAT/GST returns.
Administrative Support: Provide ongoing tax administrative support to the broader Group, ensuring all documentation and filings are maintained to local standards.
• US State Tax: Manage US state tax filings and related reporting obligations. Process, Governance & Risk Management
• Documentation: Develop documentation of tax processes to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing across the team.
