- Responsible for prepare Production and Packing plan as per Sales Requirement, management and Control.
- Responsible to achieve Production and Quality Targets, troubleshooting & decision making, process development. He is responsible to maintain and improve product quality and productivity.
- Responsible to decide Process Parameters for different grades, to develop & freeze the parameter for current grades.
- Overall responsibility of preparation of Daily MIS, weekly and Monthly advance Technical Reports
- Responsible for Plant, on plant safety as safety Team leader. To Co-ordinate with other Heads of department.
- To ensure no resources depletion and safe practice at all aspects of activities.
- Authorized to stop the plant on his assessment in critical condition of plant.
- Responsible for optimum use of man, machine & material, to reduce or maintain (budgeted or standard), raw material and utility consumption ratios, energy conservation and injury reduction by improving safety.
- Responsible for planning on the job training of Production and Packing personnel, Planning shift manpower. Responsible to provide on job training for Production staff and technicians. To help in recruitment of people in Production department.
- Responsible for implementation of new projects and developments (product, processes) in production area.
Gives instructions to his subordinates from time to time with regard to change in Production and Packing planning in co-ordination with QC / Sales / marketing.
- Responsible for Vendor Development, and preparation of Vendor evaluation data for packing material and ammonia, Trends analyses, Pollution control.
- Authorized to accept/reject the Raw Material, Packing Materials and other incoming miscellaneous items related to Production Department.
- Responsible for planning maintenance of refractory and co-ordinate with outside repair agencies at the time of execution or repairs.
- Responsible for technical evaluation of suggestions and implementation of the same in plant area.
- Responsible for preparation & implementation of ISO 9000, ISO 14000 & OHSAS 18000 related documentation & procedures
- Responsible for segregation & deciding disposition of non-conforming material in coordination.
- Responsible for implementation of corrective & preventive actions.
- Responsible for Plant Maintenance, Electrical Maintenance and Instrument maintenance.
- Responsible for waste control and meeting consumption norms of raw material & Utilities.
- Responsible for overall discipline in the plant.
- Responsible for up keep of the plant.
- Sound knowledge of Spray Dryers & Flash Dryers, Filter Press is added advantage for the consideration.
