They diagnose and troubleshoot issues, implement preventative maintenance, and may lead teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring safety compliance. Responsibilities of a Senior Maintenance Fitter (Mechanical):

- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, replacing worn or damaged parts, and making necessary repairs.
- Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules, ensuring equipment longevity and optimal performance.
- Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install, assemble, and maintain a variety of mechanical equipment and systems, ensuring precision and quality standards.
- Technical Expertise: Apply knowledge of mechanical principles, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other related technologies to perform maintenance tasks.
- Team Leadership:



Mentor and support junior fitters, providing technical guidance and ensuring best practices are followed.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures, and implement safety measures to protect themselves and others.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Collaboration: Work with engineers, project managers, and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure optimal system performance
