Job Description: Key Responsibilities Quality Control Operations

- Overall responsibility for raw material, in-process, and finished product testing

- Ensure timely analysis and release of materials and products

- Review and approve COAs (Certificates of Analysis)

- Ensure adherence to approved specifications and SOPs

Laboratory Management

- Manage QC laboratory operations, manpower, and workflow

- Ensure proper calibration, validation, and maintenance of laboratory instruments

- Control and monitoring of chemicals, reagents, and reference standards

- Maintain GLP (Good Laboratory Practices)

Quality Systems & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with ISO, customer audits, and regulatory requirements

- Preparation, review, and implementation of SOPs, STPs, and protocols

- Handling of deviations, OOS, OOT, CAPA

- Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of observations

Team Management

- Lead, guide, and develop QC chemists and analysts

- Conduct training on analytical methods, SOPs, and safety practices

- Performance monitoring and skill development of team members





Coordination & Improvement

- Coordinate with Production, QA, R&D;, and Dispatch teams

- Support method development, method validation, and troubleshooting

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency

Qualification & Experience

- Education: M.Sc. Chemistry / B.Sc. Chemistry (M.Sc. preferred)

- Experience: Minimum 8–12 years in Quality Control within chemical manufacturing

- Prior experience in Agrochemical / Specialty / Industrial Chemical industry preferred

Key Skills & Competencies

- Robust knowledge of analytical techniques (GC, HPLC, UV, Wet Analysis, etc.)

- Hands-on experience with ISO systems and audits

- Leadership and people management skills

- Excellent documentation and communication skills

- Problem-solving and decision-making capability
