We are seeking a passionate and experienced drama teacher to join our school's performing arts team. The successful candidate will teach drama classes to students of various ages and skill levels, direct school productions, and contribute to the development of our performing arts program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach drama classes to students of various ages and skill levels
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curricula
- Direct school productions, including plays, musicals, and other performances
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate drama into other subjects
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Drama, Education, or related field
- Teaching certification or equivalent experience
- Experience teaching drama to students of various ages and skill levels
- Strong knowledge of drama techniques, theories, and history
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to direct and produce school productions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Drama, Education, or related field
- Experience directing and producing school productions
- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation
- Experience teaching in a multicultural environment
