Job Description: Job Purpose:

(Yarn and Cotton only)

To manage and control the dyeing operations of yarn and cotton during the assigned shift, ensuring production efficiency, consistent quality, and adherence to process and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise end-to-end dyeing operations for yarn and cotton in the dye house.

- Monitor and ensure dyeing recipes, machine parameters, and production targets are followed accurately.

- Check shade matching, color fastness, and process consistency as per customer and quality requirements.

- Coordinate with the Lab, Quality Control, and Maintenance teams for smooth shift operations.

- Ensure correct chemical and dye dosing, material handling, and documentation.

- Manage manpower allocation, productivity, and machine utilization during the shift.

- Maintain records for batch processing, machine logs, and production reports.





- Implement process improvements to minimize rework, wastage, and downtime.

- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards.

- Support preventive maintenance activities for dyeing machines and associated utilities.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Solid technical knowledge of yarn and cotton dyeing processes.

- Familiarity with jet dyeing, soft flow, and winch machines.

- Good understanding of dyes, chemicals, and auxiliaries used in textile processing.

- Shade evaluation and color matching skills.

- Hands-on experience in process control, production planning, and quality assurance.

- Leadership and shift management abilities.

- Awareness of safety, EHS, and compliance standards in textile manufacturing.
