seeking a Power BI Developer with strong expertise in database technologies to design, develop, and implement business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will possess advanced Power BI skills along with hands-on experience in database design, development, and optimization. This role involves working with large datasets, ensuring data integrity, and creating impactful dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.

Requirements

- Power BI Expertise:

o Proficient in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Mobile.

o Advanced knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M Language).

o Expertise in creating custom visuals, slicers, and drill-through reports.

o Knowledge of ETL tools and processes.

o Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms like Azure Data Factory or AWS.

o Ability to work with APIs and other third-party tools for data integration.

- Database Knowledge:

o Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).

o Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts.

o Robust understanding of data modeling concepts (e.g.,



star schema, snowflake schema).

o Experience with indexing, query tuning, and database optimization techniques.

o ETL and Data Integration:

o Experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Informatics).

o Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP for data storage and processing.

o Ability to work with APIs, JSON, and flat files for data extraction.

o Other Tools & Technologies:

o Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics, Data bricks, or other big data platforms.

o Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis (optional but preferred).

o Advanced Excel skills, including VBA (preferred).

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science / related engineering field OR equivalent experience

In a related field

- 5+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years’ experience developing reports in SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Power BI
- Experience with building data pipelines
- Possess the ability to understand business processes and design reports.
- Good written, verbal communication skills
- Great team player
