Job Description:

TOOL DESIGN STAMPING

LOCATION KOCHI- Candidate will be based in FCI cochin site

- Experience: 8 - 10 years
- Education: Post Diploma / Diploma in tool design or Tool & die making from (NTTF /IGTR / GTTC)

ROLE-

- Initial study of product drawing / Strip Layout / Assembly drawing
- Mfg. feasibility as per drawing requirement and DFM preparation
- Positive software knowledge of Creo software & manufacturing module for tool design
- Good knowledge on strip layout of progressive tool / compounding tool/stage tool
- Knowledge of non-cutting operations like deep draw, bending, coining, embossing,
forming etc.
- Knowledge of simulation software to validate design with speed and accuracy.
- Drafting and detailing with GD and T
- Knowledge of stamping process / Press machines / Tool mfg./ Heat treatment




- Experience of handling different materials like CuBe, copper alloys, brass, stainless
steel, Aluminium etc.
- Good communication skill + knowledge on excel, word & PPT.

RESPONSIBILITIES-

- Tool Design and development of entire press tool
- 3D / 2D preparation / Tool modification / Tool Break down.
- Stimulation of component
- Component try-out and part validation
- Past failure analysis / Defect analysis to solve stamping issues.
- Prove the component as per design with minimum trials.
- Other duties as per departmental requirement
- Good teamwork. Must have good organizational skills.
- Must be proactive and show initiative.
